Touring and Camping at Hardwick Parks, Oxfordshire

If you love Oxfordshire with it’s stunning landscapes, peaceful family-friendly settings, diverse culture and abundance of things to do and see, come and fully immerse yourself by setting up pitch at Hardwick Parks.

The Facilities

Our large, level touring fields have 196 pitches available for touring caravans, tents and motorhomes, with a choice of grass or hardstanding pitches and 10amp electric hook-ups available for all types of units.

We provide all the facilities and amenities you could possible require to make your stay a comfortable, enjoyable experience. Our purpose built, comfortable and fully air-conditioned toilet and shower block facilities are in close proximity to the camping fields so you don’t have to stroll too far from your bed at the crack of dawn. Wheelchair users or visitors with disabilities have the use of our toilet / shower wet room, which is operated on a lock system. Keys are obtainable from Reception upon payment of a £10.00 refundable deposit, and are for use for the duration of your stay – please remember to bring your blue disc with you when collecting a key.

Our laundry room is situated at the rear of our Reception building, and has coin-operated commercial washers and dryers that are available on a first-come, first-served basis. There is also a sink and baby changing facilities. If you need to exchange gas cylinders during your visit, you can do so in Reception, where we offer both Calor Gas and Camping Gas.

Set up base, explore the Park and all we have to offer or come and relax in our Boat Shed riverside clubhouse where you can enjoy a tipple or two and some great pub grub with friends and family. Being in a rural area, limited Wi-Fi access is available free of charge.

Holidays at Hardwick Parks

Due to our central location, we are not only easy to get to, but provide the ideal base for gatherings with family and friends. We happily accommodate group bookings* and our warm, friendly staff will be on hand to help you with anything you could possibly need.

We have a large area adjacent to the lakeside which is set aside for ball games, kite flying and all kinds of fun activities as we don’t allow these on the main camping and touring fields.

We have a huge range of Watersport activities that are bookable from the Watersports Office, and you can take a dip in our lake at your leisure (although we recommend wearing footwear in the lakes, and staying within the buoyed areas at all times).

*For Group Bookings, please note we have a maximum occupancy of 20 people in total across a maximum of 5 pitches. To book, please download and complete our Group Booking Form

Things to
know, do and
see

If you fancy exploring pastures new and venturing further afield, we have a wide variety of information available in Reception about places to visit, things to see and do and any special events that are happening in and around the surrounding areas. Please feel free to pop in, have a browse and ask more questions about anywhere that takes your fancy. We provide an information booklet upon your arrival, which has details about local supermarkets, cinemas and emergency services etc., but if you have any questions at all please come and ask – we will be only too happy to help.

We have onsite recycling facilities and request that you do please use these. We recycle paper, cardboard, plastic, glass and cans and the bins can be found in the Car Park opposite Reception. If you’re bringing your dog/s with you, we ask that you kindly clean up after them, and use the dog bins provided.

Due to our rural location, amongst arable crops and nearby livestock, we do not allow the burning of wood at all. We do allow fire pits and BBQ’s so long as they are raised off of the ground and charcoal, gas or eco logs are used for fuel. We provide bricks for anyone that requires them for BBQ use. We do not permit the use of Chinese / Thai lanterns at any time.
