The Dreaming Spires of Oxford are just 30 minutes away by car and easily accessible from one of the Park and Rides located outside of the city centre. It is by far one of the most popular days out amongst our guests. With deep-seated history and culture, there is so much to see and do that you’ll want to make a whole day out of it. There’s plenty of shopping opportunities from high-end brands to high street favourites in the new Westgate Shopping Centre, also host to some excellent eateries and bars.
For the culture vulture, you are spoilt for choice in Oxford, which of course is home to the world-famous Oxford University, made up of over 30 colleges. You can walk the river and have a picnic in Christ Church Meadow, see the beautiful Bridge of Sighs, visit Christchurch College and see it’s famous dining hall featured in the Harry Potter films. For those rainy days why not visit the Pitt Rivers, Ashmolean and Story Museum’s, ideal for all ages.

The Medieval market town of Burford is only a 15-minute drive away, offering one-off shops, boutiques and eateries. It’s the perfect place to start or end a Cotswold walk or stroll.
