Blenheim Palace
This historic palace never fails to impress. Explore the state rooms, formal and walled gardens and the Marlborough Maze. See the room where Winston Churchill was born and study the artefacts in the Churchill Exhibition. There are also many walks to enjoy in the grounds as well as lovely shopping and eating to enjoy.

Oxford
Home of course to the famous Oxford University, this beautiful city always provides a great day out. Explore the historic sites (spotting some much loved Harry Potter film locations on the way) indulge in some shopping or take a relaxing riverside walk. For wet weather days there are plenty of museums to keep all ages entertained.

Cotswold Wildlife Park
A popular and great value day out for all ages (it’s also dog friendly) this wildlife park is set in 160 acres of parkland with over 260 species of animals. Take a train ride around the park, visit the animals and stop for a bite to eat in The Oak Tree Restaurant.

The Cotswolds
With it's honey-coloured stone villages and 'picture postcard' scenes around every corner, it’s not hard to see why so many come to enjoy this wonderful area right in the Heart of England. Enjoy strolling around small villages and historic market towns, stopping to enjoy some excellent local food and drink at one of the many pubs, cafes and restaurants. There are many stunning trails and routes to explore so don’t forgot to pack your walking boots!

Carterton
Just 4 miles from the park, Carterton is a large, cosmopolitan town with shops, supermarkets, leisure centre and soft play.

Burford
Burford's famous High Street sweeps downhill towards the River Windrush, its three-arched medieval bridge and its impressive church, both sides of the street flanked by an unbroken line of ancient houses and shops. There are side streets and alleyways just waiting to be explored in this historic and picturesque town.

Bicester Village
For those always on the lookout for a shopping bargain, this is the place to head to! With over 160 luxury brands selling their wares this is designer outlet shopping at it’s best. For recharging in-between there’s no shortage of delicious dining options to choose from at the restaurants and pop-ups.

Didcot Railway
The Didcot Railway Centre is a 21-acre living museum, dedicated to the former glory of the Great Western Railway. Explore the collection of steam locomotives, carriages, wagons, buildings and smaller artefacts, all set around the original 1932 engine shed.

Witney
The busy and bustling market town of Witney is less than 5 miles away from Hardwick Parks. It offers high street shopping, pubs, cinema and restaurants. For children, Witney offers its own miniature golf, skate park and play park including splash area, as well as a leisure centre with a swimming pool.

Cirencester
Cirencester, known as the Capital of the Cotswolds, is a lovely market town to visit during your stay. Admire the charming town with ancient honey coloured stone buildings set in picturesque narrow streets. With an array of independent shops, cafes and restaurants that the town is well known for, you’ll be spoilt for choice.
