Our Watersports centre is located between our two lakes. One of the lakes (47 acres in size with two islands in the middle), is reserved for private boat owners and is operated on a membership basis only. The memberships available are either a Full Water Activity membership which allows the member to use their own ski boat seven days a week through the season and this is open to our Static Park membership. We also have a Weekday Boat Membership which is open to the general public but which does not allow launching at the weekends or Bank Holidays.
Our other lake (51 acres with two islands) is our general watersports lake. We operate this on a shared basis. In the mornings, from 9am - 12 noon, personal watercraft have the use of half of the lake and this is on either a membership or day launch basis. From 12 noon onwards our own Club Sportique ski boat is on the water for teaching or towing. We have a training boom and can cater for the complete beginner up to an improving mono skier who wants to start running the slalom. We also tow wakeboards and kneeboards.
Ringo rides are a wonderful way to introduce kids to the joys of watersports. More exciting than any fairground ride, ringos offer thrills, spills, fun and laughter not just for the children - adults find them irresistible too!
We also cater for the launching on a membership/daily basis of windsurfers, and again this starts at noon.
