IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR CAMPING, CARAVANNING & MOTORHOME PITCHES
Bookings are taken on payment of a £20.00 non-refundable deposit. So long as we have 7 days notice we will transfer a booking to different dates within the same season or refund balance less deposit. Payments can be made by cash or card only. Full Booking Conditions are shown on our Booking Form which can be downloaded from the Camping and Caravanning Page.
Minimum bookings:-
Bank holidays 3 nights for all pitches with payment in full 7 days before arrival date
July & August 2 nights at weekends for hook up pitches only, with payment in full at time of booking
Other dates, so long as you are going to arrive when Reception is open, balance can be paid on arrival.
Arrival time for all pitches is 12noon. If you wish to arrive earlier please phone ahead to check if the pitch will be available, otherwise you may be required to wait in the late arrivals area until the pitch is free. Departure time for hook up pitches is 12 noon, but you may pay for a 4pm extension; it is advisable to do this at time of booking. Standard pitch departure time is 4pm. You will need a 25m cable if your booking is for a pitch with electric.
We have a height barrier set at 7’, 2.1m which is closed when Reception is closed. We operate a 5mph speed limit throughout the park.
We do not accept group bookings for more than 4 pitches and within this group no more than 2 gazebos may be used. We will not accept any bookings from single sex groups and customers under 18 years of age must be accompanied by someone over 21 years. We require all pitches to maintain a 6m fire gap as required by our site licence conditions. We reserve the right to ask for the removal of any structure considered by staff to be a fire risk or which is infringing the site licence conditions.
Dogs are allowed on the park provided that they are kept on the lead at all times whilst on the touring fields or in the play areas adjacent to the lake. They may be let off the lead on the dog walk area, please ask Reception staff where this is on your arrival. There are dog hygiene bins provided on the park, please help us keep the park free from dog fouling. Use a poop-scoop for your dog as no dog fouling is permitted in any area of the park.
We have a laundry room with two washers and two dryers. Please wash your clothes in this room and do not hang towels or washing over fencing or hedges. There is a freezer in here for the refreezing of ice packs only.
Barbeques are permitted so long as they do not burn the grass and use only charcoal or gas for fuel. Camp fires or the burning of wood are not permitted at any time to reduce the fire risk, nor do we allow the use of Chinese/Thai lanterns.
Noise: radios, music systems and televisions should be used with consideration for other guests during the day and after 10pm we request no noise which may cause annoyance to others and after midnight there should be complete quiet.
No ball games or kite flying is allowed on the touring fields; please use the recreation area adjacent to the lakeside. Young children should be accompanied by an adult when using the play area as it is adjacent to the lake. Minors are to be supervised at all times so that they are not a nuisance or danger to themselves or others. The play area is unlit and, therefore, unsuitable for use after dusk.
Young children should be accompanied by an adult when using the washing and toilet facilities; children are not to be allowed to play around the facilities or with the water and fire points.
During off peak and mid week periods the Clubhouse may not be open or may have restricted opening times, full details of opening times are available from Reception.
Watersports is open from 14th April until 7th October and bookings are essential at all weekends and during July and August, their direct line for bookings is 01865-300841.
We advise that your caravan be fully insured as no responsibility can be accepted by this company for loss or damage whilst on this park.

Hire caravans are not available for occupation until 4pm. If you want to arrive earlier, please telephone on the morning you are due to find out if the caravan will be ready before 4pm.
We do not allow any pets in our hire caravans. Please remember that you can only accommodate the number of people for whom beds are provided, i.e. 4 people in the 2 bedroom units and 6 people in the 3 bedroom units. We provide duvets and pillows. You should bring your own bed linen or arrange to hire from us, we do not provide towels.
Please park in the car park adjacent to the holiday caravans, no parking on the grass between or in front of the holiday hire caravans.
We ask for a £50 security deposit against any major damage or loss in our holiday homes. This must be paid on arrival by cash or credit/debit card only - no cheques accepted for this. You must leave your caravan clean and tidy on departure, as it was when you took occupation. Please do not leave any dirty cutlery or crockery; this is self catering accommodation not serviced accommodation.
